The new edition of “Amici per la pelle”, the educational project that explains the leather supply chain to the young students of the middle schools of the tanning district.
The programme of “Amici per la pelle” includes regular study tours in the companies and in the industrial plants of the district. The most awaited stage of the project is that of the creative challenge among students, who are called to craft, with the support of teachers, leather works inspired by a specific theme that is different every year.
From 2010 so far, “Amici per la pelle” has been able to explain to the young generations of the territory everything related to the tanning industry, with the relative opportunities of study and work: thus, more than 5000 students involved in the Project.
« Amici per la Pelle » edition 2018/19 is presented in the schools of the municipalities participating in the project according to the following calendar:
9th October - Santa Croce sull’Arno
12th October - Fucecchio
16th October - Castelfranco di Sotto
19th October - Ponte a Egola
23rd October - Santa Maria a Monte
